Origin - China
This loose-leaf Shu Puer consists of large-sized leaves from the Yongde region of Yunnan, China. Yongde distinguishes itself with by specializing in the production of dark, carefully fermented teas.
It is a post-fermented tea that has been processed according to the modern, wet-piled method called Shu (ripe, ripened). This is an aging process during which the tea will slowly ferment, changing color and very slowly becoming sweeter and more mellow over time.
Profile - Its brick-colored liquor develops a buttery smoothness while revealing light earthy aromas. Cocoa and spice nuances complement the aromatic profile of this silky tea.
