The New Vithanakande tea estate is situated near Ratnapura, in the heart of the low grown tea region in Sri Lanka. The factory is perched on a hill overlooking the Sinharaja rain forest and produces this beautiful tea that is mellow and refined.
 
Profile - The silver luster of its buds offers a refined contrast to the oxidized and very uniform leaves. It offers a fruity aromatic cup with full body and malty and sweet notes. The nuances of dried fruits and prune bring a roundness to this tea with the classic taste of Sri Lanka.
